What a quandary.

I want to be careful here. I want to challenge some of these not really feminist ideas and ideologies from her and others in a reasoned and kind but firm manner.

I think there’s both space and need for that here on Medium, particularly with certain authors.

That said, I don’t want my disagreements to become a platform, a diving board for another type prevalent on Medium to peck at, badger, or further brutalize (verbally) these authors just to get off to feel better about their weakness.

End point here is that it is unwise to make bellowing or bullying noise behind me when my hackles are raised for I am feral and ferocious and I will be watching my six for scavenging interlopers/intruders. Just ask my Urchling or @ArgumentativePenguin or even Rivka. She did the same thing in a debate with the Penguin and got told to back off right quick.

You make a good point about people not being ideas. That said, your comment landed as an unnecessary slight, ergo an attack. So you got a warning growl.
