Whereas my perspective is that because they define their masculinity as being the opposite of the feminine they achieve status amongst other males by their displays of control and contempt over the feminine. Firstly over those parts of themselves labeled feminine. But they ultimately hate women as a gender for being the living embodiment of what they have come to despise and root out of themselves.

They may come to hold some individual women in affection, especially ones that provide some boon to them or that they’re sexually attracted to, but they hate women and what women represent. Their complete disregard and lack of curiosity for the lives of women except occasionally regarding sex highlight this. As much as they don’t have to think about us at all except to be available to service their sex driver the happier many of them would be.

And yeah, it pretty much always reads this way to me. Cause that’s what they’re saying. En masse.

Obviously, there are some exceptions. Ones who weren’t raised or embraced religion and never bought into Greek stoic new age crap, ones who have learned and seek a more balanced dynamic between competition and collaboration. But on the whole, I think there’s a huge part in nearly every man that hates women as a gender.

But maybe we were fools to ever think any better of them. It’s been a rough but revelatory couple of years. I think this realization is pretty widespread and I think it’s behind the current divestment from dating. Women have concluded, heartbreakingly, that men were never worth our investment or regard in them because it will never be returned.
