And why did you feel the need to train and learn self defense after your difficult teen years if men are inherently trustworthy? You mentioned you still couldn't take on a bear so I'm guessing you didn't train to defend yourself against bears (because they have training for that). Who were you training to defend yourself against? Why did you have bad experiences as a teen? What happened? Because of whom? Why did it happen? And where were all the bears when it was going down?
