What's feminine about a dress? Not a damn thing. It's gender performance via costuming. Nothing more, nothing less.

And why would that make you sad? Clearly most women do not feel they are missing out on anything relevant.

I haven't worn a dress in over 20 years. I currently don't own one. My daughter likes wearing sundresses. Neither one is more feminine than the other. It's just a choice, like whether or not to wear makeup or to shave (she doesn't).
