What makes a wife is someone who has gotten married, gotten a marriage license, and had a ceremony.

It doesn't matter how old she is, how many kids she has, how often she has had sex, or what her height preferences are.

Once she says "I do", she's a wife.

Now, she may not be a wife TO YOU, but that's okay as there are plenty of fish in the sea. I'm confident our figurative woman will be able to find a man who doesn't think the entire world revolves around or conducts itself based on HIS reductive preferences.
