What happens will be the same thing that always happens.

We’ve seen this dance before. We all know the drill. We all know it’s likely many of us will see some version of it again.

The people of the British Isles saw it when Rome collapsed. We know how that went.

Same thing with the Ottoman Empire.

The people of Afghanistan are seeing it now.

The question is what are we willing to do about it? Are we willing to make the necessary response when those guys try to take charge? No matter the cost? Because there is one to make. It’s just one that’s hard to live with.
