Who questions Timberlake's artistic integrity? There was some question as to whether or not he could make it as a solo artist but that's common when one "made it" as a member of a band. There was some questioning of his behavior while dating Britney Spears and that Superbowl performance with Janet Jackson but that was about his behavior, not attempting to strip him of artistic credibility. There were criticisms of cultural appropriation.

Most of the criticism he has faced has clearly been about unethical behavior. Nobody ever suggested he didn't write all his own songs or that collaborating on songwriting means he's not a "real" songwriter.
