Recognizing how you can potentially cause harm is the first necessary step in preventing it from happening.

This is the first critical step in being a true Protector. You must have a handle on what harm is, in the first place, in order to stop it, first via self control and self discipline and secondly from keeping the street clean. You know what I mean? You cannot eliminate a hazard or a hazardous environment if you refuse to acknowledge that certain things are causing harm.

You must be aware. Head on a swivel. Pay attention. Situational awareness. All the things.
