Well, you don't. But the question is whether or not Palestinian LGBTQ have the right to fight the bigotry in their own nation, on their own terms or kowtow to Western white knight antics, which are also often hypocritical.

I think that's a valid question. It's their lives. No one is educating them on the dangers of being LGBTQ in a fundamentalist Islamic culture? Are you kidding me? They know.

Let's flip it to something more western centricand ask ourselves a hard question as a comparison and see if we're still holding water.

Should someone have to give up being Black or an Indigenous tribal identity in order to gain acceptance as LGBTQ?

Should someone have to renounce their native Scots language and culture to to be legally worthy of protecred status within the UK?

Maybe we should all be grateful that's not being asked where we are, because there is some assimilation thinking and policies going on in Israel, based on reporting.
