Well, yes.
Again, disagreeing about causes and solutions is not the same as not listening.
Men are underpaid. Men too often say it's because everythIng was fine and dandy till women entered the workforce.
I agree that wages have stagnated. I disagree that it's because women entered the workforce. I belive it has more to do with union busting and Reaganomics. Women entering the workforce during that time was correlative, not causative.
But 8 out of 10 I've ever had conversations about it with eventually come round to it's women's fault for wanting enfranchisement. Sooner or later they overwhelmingly land there.
Requiring men to register for the draft but not women is unfair. Most men either land on "this is what separates us from women and makes us superior" or "if women want equality then they can equally die on the battlefied".
Equality in death, that's it, huh? So are men now going to volunteer for ectopic pregnancies that can kill them? Are they willing to take their chances with violent women who will abuse and kill them at the same rates women do?
I think not.
I have a different idea of what fair looks like. Selective service should be outlawed and NO ONE should be drafted. Outside a literal invasion, decision makers should NOT be allowed to engage in war using ANY fellow American's body and life unleaa and until they put some skin and blood on the front lines too. Our lives are NOT less important than the elites.
Not once have I ever heard another man take that or a similar stance. One that solves their issue without hurting women.
Not fucking once.
The reason women "don't care" about men's issues is that men don't care about men's issues. Far more often than not what they care about is undermining women, making sure women suffer in some way, kneecapping women, preventing women from thriving. Even the rare man who does actually care about men's issues recognizes this phenomenon amongst his peers.
On every issue, the go to solution or talking point is to blame women, hurt women, humble women, expect women to make some sacrifice to make it all tolerable, or labor dump on women in some way to magically fix it all. Every. Time.
That's also why that bear got chosen.
