Well...yes and no.

It's a good starting point and it's where there's a lot of agreement.

That said, there's a lot of debate too, but it's not all good debate, or even good faith debate.

There's just not a good solid line in the sand that's absolute in the collective consciousness, you know what I mean?

I think that demarcation is something that most people who identify with the gender they were assigned at birth can understand, process, and support. Your sex is not your gender.

But if you try to stand by that, sooner or later one of these bad faith actors is going to blast you and most of what they say will not make a lick of sense. But if you call them out on it, you're a bigot or they'll come up with some new and exciting slur for you, like TERF. Then they'll hate swarm you. It's super fun, because there wasn't enough of that from gamers, religious "prolife" zealots, and Incels.

We're living in exciting times and the internet does love it's daily small explosions of ridiculousness, doesn't it?
