The good God fearing moral majority are eithr silent or actively supporting evangelical clergy calling for genocide. Literal murder of fellow American citizens. Just like Republican Jesus commanded.

Seems like every 80 years or so, we get to do this song and dance.

I'm sure you've seen some of the political stylings of Q Kluxxing Marjorie and the Feckless Idiot brigade looking to protect the children from everything but the No. 1 cause of death of young people, which is guns.

Gen Z has entered the political conversation with a take no prisoners attitude. So now the PTBs are going after TikTok, which Gen Z has used effectively to organize.

Racism is also tearing it's ugly head again, exhibit TN. The kids initiated a walk of shame in the state capitol for the Republican response to the latest mass shooting in Nashville. So they voted to expel 2 of the 3 legislators (who are Black) who stood with the protestors, you know, like they're supposed to be doing --representing the people and all that -- but left the white woman legislator alone.

The people are displeased and a bunch of fascists are going ronlose their seats next cycle (fingers crossed).

To put it succinctly, we've lost our collective damn minds. Again. We really might end up in a Civil War again.

And oh yeah, some Republican judge in Texas just broke the law and made the abortion pill illegal across the nation by saying it's unsafe. The case was immediately appealed, but given the legal gymnastics that overturned Roe, that's what they want. We know how the now illegitimate Supreme Court will vote.
