Well that’s part of my point. No one knows how unreported abuse is. It’s all based on estimates from self reported surveys and things. So this narrative that men report less is based on nothing but speculation.

The second thing is that you’re being disingenuous with your comparison on a couple of levels. One, the vast majority of male rapes are male on male rape. Not female on male rape. That’s the reason you can’t find many news clippings, not because they’re not being reported. Good God, it’s so sensational, do you honestly think they would bury such a juicy, coffer filling story? If it bleeds, it leads...remember? This is how the news BUSINESS works.

Two, you’re methodology here drowns out the overwhelming numbers of women and juvenile victims. Or tries too and rides the coattails of womens' advocacy and hijacks female discussion to do it. All the while framing the significantly lesser violence men experience as being perpetrated predominantly by women rather than other men.

That’s low.
