Well. I guess I can see how you would think that. But let's thi k that through to it's obvious conclusion.
If a guy is oblivious, he's either faking it or he's not.
If the former, then the obliviousness is a tool to remain uninvolved, separate. It's a habit to not have to engage. Eventually the habit becomes what has been termed weaponized incompetence.
Does that sound like a good place to be, if you were a woman? Attached, maybe permanently because of a child, to a guy you can only count on to to weaponize that incompetence against you UT never anything else.
If the latter, the obliviousness is a sign of a guy who's not too bright, observant, curious, or empathetic. If this is just who he is, how much do you thi k you can reasonably "teach" him? Do you really want that to he your life? Being a mommy to a grown man because he's incapable od being a partner? Does that sound like a good place to be as a woman?
