Well. Because I deeply believe all the philosophies of being a good man is part of the problem. And I did give a solution. Go be part of your community. I gave examples. There are infinite examples but let's not get lost in the weeds. Be part of your community and think of others at least as much as you do yourself, if not more. You don't need a complicated philosophy. Keep it simple. Take care of yourself and look to be of service. Respect the basic personhood and human rights of everyone.

The men I'm talking about are the same ones the OP references, obviously. Not all men. Lonely men whining and crying about their loneliness on the internet but refusing to do anything tangible about it but sit and sulk and blame women .

Many men are doing fine. They're not lost and floundering. They can talk to people. They're just living their lives, doing their thing whatever it is, not contemplating suicide or murder.
