BTW, growing up...Princess Leia was the only Princess I ever wanted to be like. I never gave a hoot about any of those Disney Princesses.

You can imagine my dismay when Disney bought Star Wars, just based off that. They've done a fine job with the franchise so far though.

You couldn't talk about Star Wars with boys back then because it would always devolve into a petty pissing contesr between Star Wars or Star Trek. Like listeninf to two sports enthusiasts bicker childishly about fantasy football leagues like the date of the world is at stake. Spittle flying everywhere. So pressed over something not real.

They'd steal your toys too.

So you learn to keep it to yourself.
