We don't really do those things that much anymore. We get blamed and gaslit when we get sexually assaulted if we showed any interest in a guy.
It doesn't even have to be the guy you looked at. If anybody sees you checking out a guy but then some other guy followed you home and assaulted you... guess what happens? That rape is your fault because (sarcastic and with an eye roll) obviously you were there to hook up with any old body and now just have regrets and are crying rape.
Hookup culture and dating apps have changed the landscape. You can't expect what was the norm 20 or 30 years ago to fly today.
You won't see women checking you out or inviting you over. Doesn't mean they haven't noticed you.
