We decided to "criminalize" youth so Regan could funnel money outside of congressional oversight. It was easier to "D.A.R.E. to keep off drugs" by making children responsible for the inevitable social problems of Reagan's decision to act corruptly instead of within the law and his destructive economic policies like union busting and "trickle down economics"

Instead of cleaning up our mess from bad policies from rogue presidents we passed the buck onto our children, thus destroying their childhood; at least, the sort of childhood we had.

Then we elected more rogue leaders who made more messes.
