Wasn't trying to justify it. No doubt it was an error in judgement. I'm just saying an error in judgement or losing one's cool and behaving irrationally does not mean one is afflicted with mental disease or defect.
It takes a pattern of behavior to establish mental disease. With all the flack the Smith family has taken in their rise of notoriety, and make no mistake, they are a constant target, how many times has Smith acted upon being triggered like this?
One. Maybe two. The other potential incident was in private and could just as easily be loose gossip.
There is no pattern of behavior here.
Usually, I like this authors posts most of the time. In this instance I’m of the opinion she’s as bad as Chris Rock. She’s just trying to tear somebody successful down and being mean, crossing a line, doing it.
Her remarks on someone’s mental health whom she does not know, when she is not a psychiatrist or psychologist, without any sort of real, meaningful evaluation is not cool or socially acceptable.
