I disagree that he's an adequate role model for young men, especially in the modern age.
I respect that he was a man with a code, so to speak and held that code with integrity. But that cowboy loner, solve problems with violence first shit is a bad way to be now and in the near future.
To thrive today, one needs more tools in their toolbox than a hammer.
