Very well done article. Being a white woman of middle age is America is a meat grinder right now. You really can’t win and can’t progress. And all the distractions caused by these tropes make dealing with the racism in more effective ways within ourselves (bias creep) and the larger cohort of white women that much harder. The goalposts won’t stay still. *frustrated sigh*
