Urciling and I saw a mating pair of Mallards this weekend. Here in the city. In Arizona.

I haven't seen Mallards in nearly a decade. We were very excited, even though they were not mating at the time we saw them. It was obvious they held great affection for one another. You don't just toss your grubs at any old Coot, you know what I'm saying?

Jupiter was also excited but she was able to contain herself so we got to watch them for about 20 minutes before they continued onward.

Now I feel deprived because I don't have a special Kelvin thermometer. But not too deprived because I can always do the maths and there's probably an app for that. Still, I weirdly want a Kelvin thermometer.

You do mindfulness pretty well, except for the part about subtlety influencing people to desire things they don't need, of course.

Glad you enjoyed your walk to work. I got harassed this morning on my way to work. Creepy guy. He was high.

It didn't click for me what a gritter was at first because I've never lived anywhere salting the roads and walkways is necessary. I have seen snow plows on television though. Shame there aren't more movies with roads/paths getting gritted. That would be interesting.
