Twitter only tagged his tweets because of public outcry over them demanding they do something.

Ultimately, the Presidency is more than a person, it’s an office. Twitter shouldn’t have to fact check the President, he should respect the office he holds enough to be straight. The White House should respect that office enough to fact check. And Congress should respect that office and their own enough to hold him accountable when he abuses his office. It’s public malfeasance pure and simple.

Obviously, we’ve already been down that road over abuse of power and we learned the hard way exactly how little respect politicians hold for their offices and the institutions they represent. This is just more of the same. The Senate has given him a free pass for all misconduct.

Wonder at what point they’ll look back and see what fools they were to put party over country because they couldn’t grow a spine long enough to do their duty? Has anyone noticed how quiet they’ve gotten since the pandemic briefings? Hard to keep covering for someone who thinks bleach injections along with “aspirational thinking” doused in pixie dust will just magically fix everything.
