Truly, that just means men are more loud and proud about it. They feel compelled to peacock more than women anyway and this is an 'acceptable' way to do it because it ties in with ideas of male supremacy.

Kind of makes you wonder....If it was normalized for men to dress up and wear makeup or whatever etc., would they peacock so much behaviorally? Would that compulsion to peacock be so overwhelming?
