True, but that doesn’t negate the unwillingness or inability to “sit quietly in their closets to pray”, to question the moral and spiritual veracity of what they’re being told, and to pick up their cross and follow Him instead of false prophets.

Which means, ultimately, after Trump is gone they will give us another antiChrist they have rallied around. More push toward ultra conservatism and the building of a theocratic state. Our own jihad; though this one will more likely be directed internally at first against those who want to maintain separation of church and state.

Trump is not the beginning of or the culmination of the corruption within the Christian faith. More is coming. They’re the only ones that can fix it, but first they have to see the wrong there. I’m running across a few articles here and there asking the hard questions, but no where near enough. We don’t have 20 or 30 years for a slow filter of sanity or “trickle down" spirituality to take effect. The damage well before then will be too severe and permanent.
