To me the infuriating thing about calls for empathy for these guys and their loneliness is that the empathy solution falls on women and other marginalized people.

If only they had a woman to take care of their emotional needs and clean up their mess and love them unconditionally and support them and also a job so they could feel they’re of value then all would be well.

Uh huh. So the solution to dealing with a violent and entitled man is to appease their violence and entitlement; the price of which must be paid by those most harmed by their previous acts of violence and entitlement?

Because that worked out so well all the other times.

For them.

The women, of course, ended up dead, beaten, harassed, stalked, threatened, broken, chewed up, and worn out. Unable to function properly until they heal.

What a wonderful solution.
