This was not a generalization of men. This was a genuine critique of men in the dating scene.

There are plenty of polite and well rounded men out there. I've met, conversed with, worked with, and socialized non romantically with literally hundreds of them. So has every woman.

Guess what? None of them are dating. They're just living their life, they're not chasing pussy, they're already in relationships, they're focusing on their education or their careers before getting involved, etc.

None of these men are the men the author was referring to.

She was referring to men who serially date, especially on dating apps but also the PUA brigade.
