This one's a pussycat. Black bears are notoeilus for basically being very easy to deter in most circumstances. There's tons of vids up of people walking outside to find a bear at their door or in their trash and politely asking it to leave.

And it does.

So there's another to add to the list. Bears won't shoot you in the face for saying no.
