This is where the warping is, not in that you want a life partner. Most people do. Nothing wrong with that.

It's in the thinking that you are useless and there's no point in living without it.

Also, reminder: when I say warpee I specifically mean in historical context about how men viewed their masculinity and what made a good and moral man in relation to women. So don't read this as an insult. Ideas change over time. I'm not making a moral judgement, but a healthiness observation.

Also, if we consider abstract ideas like road trips, I'm making the observation that where that idea (road) led when we started is not where we're going now. The destination we're headed now is a dead end. If we don't want to end up there, we need to change direction, or warp the current iteration of that idea back to something that will get us somewhere we want to be.
