This is probably a atupid question, but if you have two smaller working fridges, why are you letting the food go bad?
Even if you didn't, you still have your other one. Temporarily turn it into a classic ice box with a coupla few bags of ice.
Also, you can extend the life of some of your food by cooking it and then storing in said ice box.
If you've got some jars, you can can some of it too. You don't even need a pressure cooker.
You can even trade forward for future food if you've got decent enough neighbors.
So why are we wasting food on such a tight budget just because the feidge broke? I dont get it. What am I missing?
