This is out of place here. I agree with your comment in general but this sentence is wrong.
Sometimes babies come very fast. It’s rare, but it happens. My aunt delivered my cousin in less than 30 minutes from the onset of labor about a week before she was scheduled to be induced. Believe me it was a mad dash to the hospital which they fortunately lived within 5 miles of. Still, she’d been in the hospital for a whopping 8 minutes before her son was born. If they had lived any further away, guess where my cousin would have been born?
Depending on where you are and what you’re doing when you go into labor, you may or may not make it to a hospital. The fact that Boebert delivered in a vehicle suggests they were en route.
That’s one of the reasons most births are scheduled and induced now, btw. Most women are terrified of giving birth away from medical care. Just in case things go wrong. Unfortunately, those darling little urchlings, our beloved spawn, aren’t always cooperative.
The way you phrased your comment suggests she chose to have her baby in a pickup just to up her white trash creds or something. That’s highly unlikely.
Besides, one thing clearly doesn’t have anything to do with the other. Also, there are much more effective ways to up white trash creds should one so desire without risking their lives on a problematic delivery plan.
