This is absolutely rampant in our culture now. It has poisoned public space for women. Men not pursuing the PUA lifestyle have and are continuing to fail at checking this behavior to protect public space.

The result is that more and more women are giving up on the lot of men. It’s just no longer worth the effort to date at all. We’re finding that on the whole, were better off for it.

Reading through the other comments, mostly men, you can quickly see the absurdity of PUA culture thinking. The absolute misogyny. It’s all a jungle game to them where they are the predator and we women are the prey. It’s transactional thinking gone completely insane. It’s willful ignorance and equivocation.

It’s just pathetic and sad. It never occurred to the one guy that getting to know a woman through a shared activity or engaging in a mild, non-sexual manner might be a better means of building a relationship which may eventually lead to sex.
