This idea has to do with failure to uphold the Commons, it's not exactly all or nothing as you suggest.
I agree with her about that betrayal.
That said, it's not as sumple as that. I disagree with the mainstream feminist admonition to put it to men to check other men. Male to male, doing so increases the liklihood of it coming down to a physical fight. We're already in a state of civil unrest. So that's a bad idea.
You can't on the one hand recognize that men do not have a nuanced skillset and then demand they use a skillset they don't have to defend your public soace for you.
Conversely though, men do not get the use of our skillsets at their beck and call, which they also are always calling for. Don't ask us to check gold diggers for you, or pacify your feelings, or build you up, or show compassion. Blah blah blah.
If men want it to be everyone for themselves, so be it. Just remember, that means for you men too.
