This gets on my last nerve. I agree about the ethical problems with hunting exotic and endangered animals. It’s sick.
Let’s not also forget that some species depend on hunting tom keep their populations healthy in the absence of natural predators. Would you rather a controlled amount of deer be called during hunting season or that more deer suffer the slow death of starvation and disease? Would you rather desperation for food force them into areas where they become a nuisance? And maybe people get hurt or killed? ( Think a deer crashing through a car windshield). Would you like to see an ecosystem degrades due to overpopulation and deal with all the effects of that as they trickle across and into other niches?
Overpopulation of herbivore species is not something to be conveniently dismissed because Bambi made you feel sad.
