Thing is they do, but this has become a widespread belief...

Again, 404. It makes no sense, but you see men yammering about it all the time.

Funny thing is, men say women have inherent value because we can give birth but we don't see that. It assumes every human life has value. There's potenital, yes, but men have that too. What if you give birth to the next Hitler or a serial killer? That's the same potential. Right?

It's always going to be an unrealized potential until it's not and most of us have a net zero effect on humanity anyway. Which means that most of us mothers have a net zero effect via the offspring we produce.

So, it's just not something we tend to think about, ever.

Besides the point of all of that, why would any rational person think their existence has to have value to be justified? No other living thing rhinksblike that. I doubt men have either before the common era. Your existence is justified because you were 'born' and you survived. The same as every other living thing on this planet. (I put born in quotes, because, obviously, only mammals go through a process of actual birth, but the overall point stands).

Any way you look at the idea, it's just bad thinking. Plate full of rotted up brain worms. Spaghetti code. What the hell?
