Thing is, not everyone agreed with bell hooks, even back then.

That doesn't undermine or negate her work.

It also doesn't negate the feminism of those who disagree in part or in whole.

There is no feminist work that is canon. There's no board or review or Council of Nicea to choose what belongs in the feminist compendium or feminist bible and what does not.

It's all just reflections and musings. Questions and considerations. Challenges to the way things are and asking why.
