They’re going to get stuck educating their own kids. That will be good and bad. It will kill female presence in the workplace if companies don’t invest in child care. A lot of kids will not be educated well. Mom’s will organize, as they do and start up little community schools or learning pods so they can educate their kids and still have an option to work, though likely reduces hours. The birth rate will really tank. No woman in her right mind wants to willingly go back to forced or coerced marriages because she’s trapped by children and has to stay in an unhappy or dangerous situation.

Maybe some families will shift to something like having children earlier so mom and kids can shelter with her parents while working on a degree or skill training. You go to work once grandparents get home to watch the kids.
