They can only eat so much. They’re not the greedy little bastards that humans are. They’re not indiscriminately violent like humans are either. They don’t plot and scheme violence. They are also not violent for fun or entertainment.

But yeah, put a man against a lion or a tiger and the man will usually lose as far as raw power is concerned.

That just brings us back around to physical prowess is not the ultimate factor of skill or worth though, doesn’t it? It’s weapons, adaptability, the ability to abstract, and coordinated strategy that gives humans the upper hand there.
