They believe he is being prevented from making changes. For many of them, their reasons for voting for him is a continuation of their reasons from 2016.

They believe they are the heroes here, saving Democracy. They’re clearly not in their right minds. They’re in thrall of a cult leader, so they’re not in their right minds. They don’t see what we see.

The leaders of this nonsense, if you can call them that, are as you say. They’re anarchists at heart and have been stoking violence for years.

Trump supporters aren’t a monolith any more than any other group. We need to understand that in order to successfully dismantle it and prevent any further attempts to topple government or other terror events.
