These days I tend to think we’d be better off separating the business of marriage and parenting from our sexual lives altogether. I’m not sure how it would work but it doesn’t seem to work out well that our choices for mate are so often a compromise from the beginning.

Truly good lovers are hard to find. They also often don’t make the best life companions or are kinda bad at relationships in general. Hence the life of quiet desperation.
