Christianity is all about submission to divine authority and hierarchy. All the Abrahamic faiths are.

That said, what's been going on the last 4 or 5 decades is something different, more like the witch trials. The rhetoric, left unchecked, could lead to widespread femicide. It's got all the hallmarks we've seen preceding many many historical femicides.

It’s not just the degrading and dehumanizing aspect of it. They are making women enemies of God’s chosen. They are making everything to do with the feminine to be evil. They’re making women out to be an obstacle to getting into heaven.
