There you go. Glad you healed/are healing from it. A lot of people can't.

They don't have the resources. They don't have the help. They don't have enough mental free time to grapple with all they need to grapple with. They over focus on not rocking the boat so much they don't see opportunities to end the cycle when they come around. They're just too afraid. They're trapped in other, conflicting ideologies simultaneously (if I leave I'm a bad parent, God will abandon me, etc).

The list goes on. It never ends. Change is hard and scary. Takes time, opportunity, courage, and resolve to see it through all at the same time and in the right measure.

It's a tall order not everyone gets, or gets easily.
