There was. Because I was at work and was rattling off a quick thought.

A thought which starter with a particular sentence from the author, as all highlighted sentences that you comment on do.

That sentence suggested that equality of the pay gap just couldn't be resolved because of the sad fact of WOMEN'S biology that creates broken work years to have children.

Without ever even trying or thinking of possibilities. Just cause.

Ive promoted this idea before. I think it's a sound one. And while I have no problem whatsoever with it including any form of parent who wants to be the stay-at-home caregiver, if it ever gets done it WILL be based and justified in that particular biological fact that women live longer than men and thus can "afford" extended working years. So the govt can pay retirement for them before it's actually been earned without causing more debt problems.

The math doesn't work out if you hinge it on men's lives and working years or any of the in-between genders.

So yes, the comment focused on women.

I am a working single mother advocating for women. I also hold humanist beliefs.

So I guess the question here is why you feel it's necessary to "read my mind" about the whole of my beliefs over one comment about a specific thing that affects specific women during a specific time in their lives?

Why do you assume that focus on that specificity scrubs out everyone else? Why does everyone else who is not a biologically born woman who is now a mother get to hold the spotlight but the rest of y'all certain types fall all over yourselves to jump in the limelight every fucking time? Again, hijacking specific threads for your own agendas. Every fucking time?
