There is an answer to that but it is an unpleasant one. Some young women have tried it with moderate success to end honor killings in other countries.
Spite suicides or sometimes infanticide.
The more performative, the better. No country can survive the loss of the ability to replace it’s population. It’s the feminist version of "give me liberty or give me death". I read an article several years back about an increase in honor killings in ??? can’t remember, maybe Saudi Arabia ??? where several young women killed themselves by ingesting rat poison the night before they were to be married off in protest. The men of the village were shocked out of their dogma. "Why? Such a tragedy. How could she think this is better?" The women shrug, nonplussed, "At least she died quickly by her own hand instead of waiting around for a torture death at your hands, or her brothers’, or that violent prick you sold her to". The men, "Wha...? YOU! Hm. If... *Crickets* Perhaps we’ve been too severe and taken things a bit too far."
Spite suicides are an absolute last resort, but they do work in extreme circumstances. They have to be performative or attach to local lore (women in Chinese villages would drown themselves in the local well so the village could never forget their mistreatment as they had a fear of spirits created by drowned persons), there have to be enough of them in direct response to the targeted behavior, and you have to have enough of the remaining oppressed vocally saying, "I don’t blame her. I wish I had/hope I have the same courage. Death is better."
