The United States, which has more billionaires than any other country, the top 1% of earners take 20% of income and the bottom 50% of earners take 10%.

If you look at the Gini Index, which measures wealth disparity, the US does NOT make the top 10 list, neither does it make the bottom.

Looking at the coefficients by country, South American and Latin American countries are between 40 and 50, typically around 45.

The US is 39.7, putting us right between Peru at 40.2 and El Salvador at 39.

Our rural communities have been languishing for years as evidenced by the rise of far right fascist populism, especially amongst young and middle aged white men. Coincidentally, it is and was prinarily white men who consistently voted for the policies that created the wealth disparity and protect corruption.

The creation of reservations and ghettos have left marginalized communities to languish for years. Help for these communities never comes. Same dynamics as above.

Fundamentist sects of Cbristianity raise women to be house/sex slaves and they are allowed to continue bases on 1st amendment freedom of religion. We are known theoughout the world for our crazy religious cults. We've got everything from snake charmers to forced polygamists. Various forms of sexual abuse are rife and rampant within the church. It gets covered up; there's rarely any accountability.
