The absolute best that comes out of churches about a very real problem now made worse for women is empty talk.

Did your tithes increase? Was a special fund for donation set up? Has the church set aside property and support for these women? Do you even know who they are?

Yeah. Let’s congratulate empty talk designed to make parishioners feel better about legitimate criticisms of callousness and lack of compassion.

After all, as long as we’re “talking" about how we might or might not look to Jesus, we don’t have to actually do anything about it.
