The thing about her beauty… it’s subjective. People of the time may very well have found her incredibly beautiful, even if by today’s standards she would be considered plain.
In fact, in earlier times beauty was judged predominantly by one’s physical bearing and manner, or how they presented themselves and had a lot less to do with their physical appearance.
So it’s not only possible, but likely that Cleopatra really was the most beautiful woman of her time with a hooked nose, too pointy chin, and otherwise plain features.
That says more about us today than it does about people then. Just saying.
