How we govern and organize ourselves is a choice. Whichever way we choose will have benefits and vulnerabilities. Those seeking power and control will always seek to exploit vulnerabilities. Regardless of choice a society makes, it will always be a never ending struggle to maintain cohesion and to keep the overall course of society straight and true.
