The problem then becomes why do the rest of us look to and depend on women like Madonna to lead feminist charges for us when they have never been out as a feminist?

If women like Madonna and the Kardashians become acceptable influencers for women that outweighs and outshines women like Meryl Streep, Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Thompson, Emma Watson, or literally any other woman who has made her life about advocating for women in a real, meaningful, and tangible way, then women have missed the mark somewhere.

We're not fortifying our minds or our daughter's minds against advertising propaganda, dating culture, or influencer culture.
