The problem here is that your solution depends very much on ending racism before it will ever be enacted. Which means, you'll never get there so long as monied interests rule the roost. And that's capitalism in any form, not just end stage capitalism.

So your solution is as much of a nonsolution as affirmative action. At least affirmstive action is a bandaid. Yours is a theoretical surgery there's no way to perform.

That said, it's not a half bad idea. I kind of agree, but I think either feneral education (high school level) needs to be amped up to what from a few years of college, extended to age 20 to do the same, or employ your ideas at the graduate level.

I do love the idea about education being divorced from sports and other such things and being about education and education alone.
